What we’re often asked about commercial property

To many, a property abroad is the fulfilment of a dream. And in today’s climate, foreign holiday residences and buy-to-lets do seem more stable (and enjoyable!) an investment than equities or British homes.

But it’s easy to imagine the snags. Logically, the further an investment is from home the greater the scope for expensive errors. We believe that overseas purchases deserve the same professionalism and immediacy as those in the UK: so every Petermans office now employs overseas professionals linked to established agents, developers and lawyers in Europe.
